Obituary for Barber

John Henry Barber, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 1999. He was born August 2, 1911 in Eatonton, GA and was a graduate of Mercer College in Macon, GA. Mr. Barber worked for the Federal Government for 43 years and also served with the Army Air Corps for three years during WWII. Survivors include Inez Barber, his wife of 57 years; two sons, John Henry Barber Jr. and wife, Loretta and James Rist Barber and wife, Kathy; and six grandchildren, William DeLucia, Amy Barber, John Henry Barber III, Joseph J. Barber, Jacob T. Barber and Jennifer Barber. Mr. and Mrs. Barber were longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Myron E.
