James Russell Sarver, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette Sarver; daughters, Melinda (Lynde) and husband, Richard Brogan of Felton, DE, Karen Lynn Wilder and husband, Doug of Murray, NE, Sharon Renee Gallegos and husband, John of Albuquerque, NM. Survivors also include sisters, Jackie Taylor of Mobile, AL; Darlene Jernigan of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends. He was preceded in death by son, Jerry Lee Cyphert; sisters, Peggy Ghiloni and Betty Tracy; brothers, Maurice Sarver and Ralph Sarver. James was born in Green Bay, WI on June 29, 1922. James retired from the U.S.A.F as Chief Master Sergeant in 1974, after 31 1/2 years of service. He then went to work at the Link division of the Singer Company in Bellevue, NE and retired in 1987. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends may visit, French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
