Obituary for Brown

Nellie (Nolia) Brown, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday morning at St. Anthony's Central Hospital in Denver following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Candelaria Garcia Roybal. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Pereda and her husband, Jorge of Denver, CO; one sone, Dennis Quintana of Albuquerque; three brothers, Juan Roybal of Colonias, NM, Cornelio Roybal and his wife, Erlinda of Scottsdale, AZ, and Larry Roybal and his wife, Socorro of Pecos; three sisters, Maria Ruiz and her husband, Antonio of Colonias, NM, Tomasita Rodriguez and her husband, Estevan and Grace Gallegos all of Pecos; her grandchildren, Josephine Martinez and her husband, Frankie and Arlene Pereda all of Grants, NM, and Christina and Angelica Pereda of Denver, CO; a great-grandson, Ernesto Pereda; a special niece, Esther Quintana and her husband, Sixto of Pecos; 11 nieces, five nephews, and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a member of the Cursillo Movement in Albuquerque. A visitation will be held Thursday afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. from St. Anthony's Catholic church in Pecos. A Parish Rosary will be recited there at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, morning at 10:30 a.m. from the Santo Nino Church in Lower Colonias.
