Catherine"Cathy" Stanley, 53, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 27 years, passed away on Friday, December 24, 1999. Cathy came to New Mexico from New York. She was born October 13, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of James John and Marie Cesario Hallinan. Cathy has been a Registered Nurse before her death. She is survived by her husband, David Stanley of Rio Rancho; two children, James Yodice of Santa Fe, and Jean Ransom and husband, Phil of Rio Rancho; one grandchild, Joshua David Ransom (I love you very much Granny). Cathy was the World's Greatest friend, Mother, Granny, Loving Wife, friend to everyone she met. Visitation for Cathy will be held today, Tuesday, December 28, 1999 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, and for one hour before the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. The service will be on Wednesday, December 29, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Yodice, Phil Ransom, Danny Stanley, Thomas Yoakum, Chad Kuhn, and Brent Rutgers. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Main Hospital, P.O. Box 31356, Tampa, FL 33631-3356. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
