Obituary for Parsley

Phyllis Mae Parsley, 62, who was a wonderful grandma, wife, mother, soul-mate, best friend, was born May 8, 1937 and died Friday, November 5, 1999. A resident of Albuquerque since 1973, she will be missed by her life-long companion and husband of 42 years, Bob; son, Steve Parsley and wife, Sheryl, and their daughter, Amber Nicole Parsley, of Albuquerque and Las Cruces; sister, Donna Collie and husband, Eddie of El Monte, CA; sister-in-law, Dorothy Raymond of St. John, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis is preceded in death by two brothers, Bradley D. Raymond and Larry Raymond; parents, Harry and Edna Raymond; and her stepfather, Sal Termine. She took great delight in the world around her and loved to be outdoors. Phyllis saw beauty in everything she saw and every one she met. She was a very compassionate person, and her whole life revolved around her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Amber-Nicole--whose special relationship was blessed by love, respect and joy. Phyllis was always willing to listen to others and be there for them. She worked hard during her life and took great pride in her job as a technical typist at Metatech Corporation. Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2:00 p.m. in the French Mortuary Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Phyllis Parsley's name to the Hospice of your choice. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, is in charge of the arrangements.
