Obituary for Lueras

Mr. Angel H. Lueras, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 3, 1999. Mr. Lueras was the beloved father to six daughters, Ida Chavez, Lorina Olivarez and husband, Henry, Rose Marie Lueras, Lollie Lueras, Mary Bernadette Still and husband, Tom, and Sandra Ann Garcia; two sons, Manuel Lueras and Danny Lueras. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Olimpia and Leo; one special nephews, Manuel; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and a daughter, Rachel Jaramillo. Mr. Lueras was a member of the Catholic Church, and veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. A Rosary will be recited Sunday afternoon, 3:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with visitation at the church after 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, 9:30 a.m., at Holy Rosary Church with viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 noon. Pallbearers will be Vickie Chavez, Regina Lueras, Lollie Lueras, Vincent Lueras, Manuel Lueras and David Still. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
