Richard F. Walter, 84, departed this life on November 1, 1999 in Albuquerque, N.M. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Walter; daughters, Susan Walter-Linsell of Albuquerque and Julie McLeod of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Paul McLeod and Desiree Walter-Davis. He is remembered for his devotion to his family, he was an Air Force Veteran of WWII, a long time member of All Saint's Episcopal Church in Bayside, NY. He was active in the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and the Shrine Temple in New York City. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 5, 1999, 9:00 a.m. at St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Place NE, Albuquerque, NM. Donations may be made in Mr. Walter's name, to the Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, Childrens Burn Hospital Fund, 6600 Zuni Road SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, (505) 265-0800.
