Mildred G. Akins, died October 25, 1999 in Burley, ID. Born July 5, 1910 in Nevada, Missouri. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth V. Atkins. Active member in Lew Wallace Chapter of DAR for many years. Member of St. John's UMC. Avid follower of Balloon Fiesta many years. Survived by daughter, Karen Mayers and husband, Terry, sons, Robert and wife, Becky, Michael and wife, Glenda. Sister-in-law Helen Stevens of Florida. Grandchildren Gabrielle and husband, Steve, Kazzandra, Ken, Pat, Nicole and husband, Eric, Shawn, Alan and wife Michelle, Katie and Robbie; great-grandchildren Scott, Kelly, Tyler and Madison; also many friends.
