Gladys Doreen"Deane" Vanderhoof, a youthful 77, unexpectedly passed away quietly at home, Monday afternoon, October 17, 1999. Deane, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, was preceded in death by her beloved husband, P.W."Vance" Vanderhoof. She was the loving mother of sons, Gary and Dallas Vanderhoof, both of Albuquerque; devoted grandmother of Brian Vanderhoof of Las Vegas, NV, Erin and Heather Vanderhoof, both of Albuquerque. Also surviving are her sisters, Constance"Connie" Clifford of El Paso, TX and Geraldine"Gerry" Carrier of Oceanside, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deane, an avid artist, loved to read, travel and spend time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life Monday, 4:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
