Takako Bettinger, age 78 and a resident of Albuquerque for 27 years died Friday, October 22, 1999, following an illness. Mrs. Bettinger is survived by her husband, John L. Bettinger; one daughter, Mildred Griffee and her husband, James all of Albuquerque; one step-son, Brian A. Bettinger and his wife, Kathryn of CA; and a sister, Fusako Hayakawa of Japan. Mrs. Bettinger was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 25, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE with pastor, Fred Gurule of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle NE are in charge of arrangements.
