Pio V. Sanchez, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 19, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Rose Sanchez; sons, Paul Sanchez and wife, Barbara and Richard Sanchez and wife, Frances; daughters, Carol Vigil, Rebecca Romero and Cynthia Garcia and husband, Craig; grandchildren, Ronald Sanchez and wife, Theresa, Philip Sanchez and wife, Kassandra, Denise Sanchez and fiancee, Toby Villanueva, Brian Sanchez and wife, Claudine, Tammy Chavez and husband, Victor, Kristi Vigil, Donna Vigil, Patricia Romero and Richard Romero and wife, Tara; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Mariano Sanchez; and sisters, Geri Guzman and husband, Adolph and Patsy Bianchi and husband, Richard. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his parents, Policarpio and Perfecta Sanchez; and brother, Abran Sanchez. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW, with Ruben Gomez reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Ascension, with Father Edmund Savilla, Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Donna Vigil, Ronald Sanchez, Philip Sanchez, Brian Sanchez, Richard Romero and Craig Garcia. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
