Obituary for Wilfon

Douglas E. Wilfon, 45, a resident of Albuquerque for 29 years, died Monday, October 11, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Renee A. Wilfon of Albuquerque; daughter, Rya L. Fouch and husband, Jeremy of Los Lunas; son, Ty Douglas Wilfon of Albuquerque; grandson, Austin Fouch of Los Lunas; step-parents, Dean and Myrtle Moore of Polk City, IA; brother, Stan Wilfon of Albuquerque; and sisters, Jan Bowersox and husband, Robert of Polk City, IA, Lynn Maland and husband, David of Slater, IA and Debra Corrie and husband, Casey of Dallas, TX. Mr. Wilfon was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community. He was president of the Metal Trades Council for Sandia National Labs. He was a former member of I.B.E.W. Local #611, and a member of I.B.E.W. #1988. He was an active foster parent. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, 9:30 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Committal will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A service in celebration of Douglas' life will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper NE, with Pastor Geary Brogden officiating.
