Obituary for Taylor

Teresa DeVargas Taylor, 83, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Canon Plaza, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 1999, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Pablo and Delfinia DeVargas. She is survived by five children, Ida Houseknecht and husband, William of Elephant Butte, Isabelle H. Prather of Albuquerque, Herbert H. Hernandez and wife, Teresa of Albuquerque, Anita Field of Denver, CO and Edwina Terese Manzanares and husband, Wayne of Castle Rock, CO; nine grandchildren, Mark Martinez, Mylo Martinez, Myda Bailey, Monica Lundstrom, Carla Anaya, Carlo Hernandez, Sherry Field, Jesse Field and Shane A. Grenko; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Ignacita Trujillo of Canon Plaza. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 1999, at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 1999, at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola. Interment will follow at the Canon Plaza Cemetery.
