Emily Gertrude Schultz, 76, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 29 years, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 1999. Emily was born May 25, 1923, the daughter of Felix and Theresa Saydak, in Farmington, New York. Emily had worked for Sparton Southwest before retiring. She was a member of the Meadowlark Senior Center. Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Schultz. She is survived by five children, Ronald Schultz of Grand Prairie, TX, Leo Schultz of Rio Rancho, David Schultz of Rio Rancho, Ann Rodriguez of Gallup, and Donna Schultz of Rio Rancho; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 1999. The committal service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
