Russell E. Wallace, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 11, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Wallace of Albuquerque; one daughter, Karleen Walters of London; one sister, Miriam Holder of Davenport, IA; three brothers, Jack Wallace of Davenport, IA, Wayne Wallace of Davenport, IA and Max Wallace of North Carolina; four grandsons; and nine great-grandchildren. He was a resident of Albuquerque for six months, moving here from Moline, Illinois. Visitation will be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, Thursday, October 14, 1999, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Danny Walters, Mark Walters, Curtis Walters, and Steven Walters. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE. Services will be announced by Strong-Thorne. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
