Garnet B. Spratte, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, October 11, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Joy Simons of Jensen, UT and Carol Selters and husband, Henry of Albuquerque; son, Verne Spratte and wife, Barbara of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Spratte was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil A. Spratte on September 13, 1992; and grandson, Virgil O. Spratte on October 28, 1967. She was a member of Rio Grande Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Gerald Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Bill H. Simons, Jeffrey V. Spratte, David M. Spratte, Henry Selters, Daniel Cuaron and Levi Cuaron. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
