Mrs. Alberta V. Gonzales, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 23, 1999. Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Arturo; one daughter, Christina A. Romero and husband David; two sons, Robert Gonzales and Rose, and Ted Gonzales and wife, Rosemary; one brother, George Vasquez; six grandchildren, Brian, Debbie, Steven, Stephanie, Robert and Desiree; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning at the Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper NW, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 a.m., Father Renfro, Celebrant. A Committal service is scheduled for Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Gonzales, Steven Gonzales, Brian Romero, Tommy Cordova, Anthony Cordova and Epifanio Mendoza Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Desiree Gonzales and Stephanie Gonzales. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
