Obituary for Archuleta

Juanita Archuleta, age 99, a very dear and loved aunt, was called home by our Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Henry Archuleta. She was a resident of Albuquerque for eight years. Aunt Juanita came from Delta, CO, where she and the Reverend made their home for most of their lives. She is survived by one nephew, Joe M. Cordova; one niece, Fannie C. Maestas; and Sister Consilia de-Herrera O.F.M., and were brought up by her. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, and will be missed by us all. She was a very devoted veteran teacher, who taught in rural area schools. She was a lover of nature and adored her animals. She and her husband were very active in their church and served their community for many years. Evening services will be this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. Interment will be Saturday, November 27, 1999 at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta, CO. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
