Ruby Ligon, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999. She is survived by her nephew, James Robinson and wife, Jimmie of Albuquerque; nieces, Faye Harmon and Sadie Moore, both of San Bernadino, CA; sisters, Loretta Stewart of Parson, KS and Willa Price of Topeka, KS; and many more nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ligon was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Albert Ligon in 1989. She was a member of Grant Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she was an active usher and served on the missionary board. Mrs. Ligon was a member of Eureka Matron Federation Club and the Eastern Star. She worked at the Veteran's Hospital for 13 years. Services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Grant Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 7920 Claremont NE, with Rev. Crystal Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
