George Thomas (Thom Kat) Huff Jr., age 45, a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, died Monday, November 15, 1999. He is survived by his mother, Lucy Huff of Albuquerque; sisters, Kathy Smith of Oklahoma, Beverly Prescott of Albuquerque, Sherry Huff of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas Huff Sr. in 1997. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1999, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with Pastor Jim Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in the Sandia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doyle Cramberg, Walter Rhodes, Robert L. Lawhorn, Johnny L. White, Russel Roberts, and Pat Stewart. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
