Marion Lavalette Abare, of Overland Park, Kansas, joined the Angels in Heaven on Monday, November 1, 1999. Funeral Mass was Friday, November 5, in Leawood, Kansas. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas, and a remembrance in the Ancestral Linebrook Cemetery in Ipswich, Maine. Any donations are to be sent to Newcomers Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas 66210. She is survived by children, Sue Abare of Albuquerque; Jacqueline Dotson of Overland Park, KS; Dan and his son, Shawn of Overland Park, KS, Patrick and Amy, and their daughter, Kiersten of Jamul, CA; Lianne Abare of Linwood, KS; Timothee L. and Ann Abare, and children, Brad, Mark, Craig, Luke, Joy and Paul, recently of Tulsa, OK; Julie and John Gardner, and their children, Kate, Ellie, and Johnny of Carrington, ND; Robert and Janet Abare, and their children, Justin and Jessica of Lemoore, CA; John and Lisa Abare, and daughter, Emily of Higginsville, MO; Mike and Suzanne Abare, and their son, Blake of Olathe, KS; Michele and Ken Cole, and Bandit, Tango, and Kyota of Olathe, KS; also surviving is a sister, Edith Cole of Deltona, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins from Maine to California.
