Helen Ruybalid, age 95, a resident of Albuquerque for 26 years, died on Thursday, March 4, 1999 at a local hospital. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Archuleta and husband, Dan and their children, Danny and Greg of Albuquerque; sons, Louis Ruybalid and wife, Seraphima and their son, John and wife, Christine, their daughter, Mariana of Santa Fe, Gilbert Ruybalid and wife, Brenda and their son, Michael and wife, Joyce of Whittier, CA; sisters, Jane Waterman of Denver, CO and Sarah Padilla of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of 2nd Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 7, 1999, 3:00 p.m., at 2nd Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith NE, with Rev. Dr. Anthony Chavez officiating. Bob Waterman, Danny Archuleta, Greg Archuleta, John Ruybalid, Frank Chavez and Chris Chavez will served as pallbearers. Michael Ruybalid, Marianna Ruybalid and Gibby Ruybalid will served as honorary pallbearers. Interment will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, CA, at a later date. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
