Dorothy Henson, passed away Thursday, March 4, 1999 in Albuquerque, NM. She had lived in Albuquerque 40 or more years, after moving from Quincy, Illinois by way of Texas. Her hobbies included entertaining her grandchildren, painting, drawing and gardening. She loved music and loved playing the piano. She is survived by her two children, Jan and husband, Corey Godden of Albuquerque and Joyce and husband, Jerry Day of Borger, Texas. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild who will served as honorary pallbearers, Sean, Jeffrey and Jessica Chynoweth, Melissa Campbell, Jessica, Peter and Laura Godden, Crissee, Jennifer and Lexie Day. Rosary will be held Sunday, March 7, 1999 at 6:00 p.m. at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd., Albuquerque, phone 821-0010. Mass will be at Gate of Heaven on Monday at 10:00 a.m., 7500 Paseo Del Norte, NE, Albuquerque.
