Obituary for Baldonado

Laura Baldonado, 68, a resident of Belen, passed away on Friday, March 5, 1999. She was born on November 18, 1930 in Colorado Springs, CO. Laura was raised in Casa, Colorado by her parents, Demetrio and Ferminia Baldonado. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Laura's biggest joy in life was being with her family. Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Baldonado in 1988; and her daughter, Jo Ann Trujillo in 1995. She is survived by her children, Liz Ortega and her husband, Eddie, Mary Ann Baldonado, Kathy Carrillo, Richard (Dickie) Baldonado, and Danny Trujillo; eight grandchildren, Damon Ortega, John Carrillo and his wife, Nicole, Victoria and Desiree Trujillo, Jessica, Brandy, and Brian Baldonado, Jacob Baldonado and his wife, Ann Marie; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Baldonado and Juan Carrillo; brothers, Nestor and his wife, Flora; sisters, Crucita Trujeque and her husband, Tele, Juanita Gonzales; two brothers-in-law, Raymundo and his wife, Carmen, Placido and his wife, Jenny; sister-in-law, Maria Mendoza. Laura is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and a very special friend, Debbie Siow. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 4:30 p.m., at Romero Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Damon Ortega, John Carrillo, Jacob and Jessica Baldonado, Victoria and Desiree Trujillo, Danny Trujillo, and Eddie Ortega. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N.
