Mr. Paul A. Romero, 68, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on February 28, 1999. Mr. Romero is the beloved husband of 10 years to Mrs. Rachel Trujillo-Romero. He is also survived by his daughters, Lucille Potempo, Lillian Anchaleehamaikorn and Marilyn Midel; two sons, Paul A. Romero Jr. and Raymond E. Romero; seven sisters; two brothers; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Romero was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict and a member of the Victory Love Fellowship Church. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 until 4:00 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 with visitation after 9:30 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, Pastor Jack Connor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30. Pallbearers will be Paul A. Romero, Raymond Romero, Alonso Baca, Robert Potempo and Roger Potempo. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
