Obituary for Levin

Jerome"Papa" Levin died on Saturday, February 27, 1999. He was born November 12, 1909 in the Bronx, New York. He was an Air Force radar instructor in WWII. He worked on Wall Street in the 1920's and in the garment industry for most of his life. He married his beloved wife, Sylvia, in 1939, moved with her from Chicago to Albuquerque in 1989 and was preceded in death by her in 1996. He is survived by his only son, David and wife, Sharon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Abraham and Moses, Sarah Levin, Julie Levin, and Florine Levin. He was a kind and gentle man, and he will be deeply missed by those who love him. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 2, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. in Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, with Rabbi Isaac Celnik officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
