Lily Jarmark, 80, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 30 years, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 1999. Lily was born April 23, 1918 in Liverpool England. She was married to Irving Jarmark in 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. Lily and Irving came to New Mexico from Brooklyn, New York. Lily had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Jewish War Veterans, and had been a bell ringer with the Salvation Army. Lily is survived by her husband, Irving of Rio Rancho; two sisters-in-law, Frances Lieberson and Florence Grubman of New York; one brother-in-law, Joseph Jarmark and wife, Ann of California. The Graveside Services were held on Friday, February 26, 1999 in the Jewish War Veterans Section in Vista Verde Memorial Park with Cantor Aron Straser officiating. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
