Arthur Haight"Art" Eggleston, loving daddy, husband, and granddaddy, passed away after a long fought illness on Thursday, February 25, 1999. Arthur was born on September 19, 1911. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Felt Eggleston, who passed away on November 7, 1981. Arthur's family wants him to be remembered for his total devotion to life, God and for his complete love and kindness for his loving family and friends. He worked 54 years as a dry cleaner, both in Albuquerque, where he was a partner in Master Cleaners and owner of Eggleston Dry Cleaning in Greenfield, IN. Arthur was a member of Blue Lodge, Hancock Lodge #101 F & AM of Greenfield, IN, Greenfield York Rite, Masonic Temple Lodge #6, Ballut Abyad Temple of Albuquerque and The Lions Club of Albuquerque. He is survived by his loving daughter, Carolyn Kay Burch; son-in-law, Danny R. Burch; granddaughters, Leanne Marie Grier and Trisha Dee Crow; great-granddaughters, Austin Leigh Grier and Skye Marie Grier; and step-grandsons, Adam Jeffrey and Tylor Christian Grier, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his niece, Barbara Jean Muegge and husband, Richard"Dick" of Greenfield, IN; great-niece, Teri Seigal of Indianapolis, IN; and great-nephew, Mark Muegge of Ft. Stockton, TX; and cousin, Thelma Smith of San Diego, CA. Services will be held Tuesday, March 2, 1999, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, with Bill Woodard officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Albuquerque Memorial Lodge #1, Bill Gleason officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Jeffrey Grier, Tylor Christian Grier, Rick Devereau, and the members of Albuquerque Memorial Lodge #1. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Monday, March 1, 1999, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Many heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nursing staff for making Arthur's last days of life so peaceful with loving care. Arthur's family also wants to thank the staff at Presbyterian Pickard Convalescent Center for their love, care and support.
