William R. Howard, age 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1932, passed away on February 25, 1999. He was born in Kirksville, MO, December 5, 1921."Bill" was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Emily Howard; and is survived by his daughter, Nancy Klinkhammer of Woodland, CA; and a son, William Jr. of Albuquerque; two granddaughters, Erica and Julie; and one great-granddaughter, Nicole. He served in the Air Force during World War II and worked in road construction afterwards, employed by O.D. Cowart and Wylie Bros. Contracting Cos. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 1, 1999 at Sunset Memorial Park, with Larry Pierson officiating. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
