C De Mary C de Baca, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, has gone home to be with our Lord, Jesus. She passed away peacefully at home in the hands of her loved ones, Wednesday, February 24, 1999. She is survived by her loving husband, Melquides C de Baca of the family home; daughter, Viola Ortega of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Connie Kitts and husband, Matthew, Carol Ortega; great-granddaughter, Antionette Ortega; great-grandsons, Robert Perea Jr., Jerry Ortega; granddaughter-in-law, Carol Ortega; great-great-granddaughter, Alisha Gallegos; sister, Phyllis Urioste; niece, Gloria Gabaldon and husband, Florencio; and numerous nieces and nephews. We will forever miss you. You will be forever in our hearts and always in our thoughts. We love you Mama, Viola and family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Fidel Padilla, Elias Padilla, Matt Kitts, Frankie Gallegos, Michael Urioste and Chris Urisote. Services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
