Florence Nakos, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Wednesday, February 24, 1999. She is survived by her sons, John C. Nakos of Rio Rancho and James T. Nakos and wife, Diane of Albuquerque. Mrs. Nakos was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John, in September, 1998. She was an English teacher, mother of two, and devoted wife. Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Saturday, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Per her wishes, cremation will follow services.
