Jess Harness, born December 7, 1922, died February 23, 1999. He was preceded in death an infant son; and a grandson, Denny Kear. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Harness of 57 years; sisters, Annabel Rapp and Violet Dean Butler; a brother, L.A. Meyers; daughters, Patricia Gothard and Terry Kear; grandchildren, Steve Kear, Carol Manning, and Tom Gotthard V; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitation at the family home on Thursday, 2-25-99, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements are being provided by Sunrise Society, 891-8200.
