Obituary for Thompson

Mary Thompson, 83, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord, February 17, 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cresencio and Eloisa Lopez; and grandson, Michael Perez who died January 17, 1999. She is survived by her children, Bill Thompson of Springfield, MO, Viola Armijo and husband, Louie, Marlene Perez and husband, Manuel, Geneva Perez and companion, Yolanda Olguin, whom she loved like a daughter, Edna Steppe and J.J. Jaeger, Ada Crespin, Richard Lopez and wife, Ruth, Sam Thompson of Indiana; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a brother, Crecencio Lopez Jr. and wife, Lilly; sisters, Lena Aguilar and husband, Rudy of Las Vegas, NV, Marcella Mirabal; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna NE, where she attended the past eight years. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 19, 1999. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Perez Jr., Ronald Perez, James Perez, Yolanda Olguin, Louie Armijo Jr., B. Chris Armijo. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Perez, Andy Perez, Daniel Perez, Patrick Crespin and Anthony Armijo. Burial arrangements by Direct Services, 2919 4th NW, 343-8008.
