Obituary for Sumner

Ruby Sumner, 66, a resident of Albuquerque for 32 years, died Tuesday, February 16, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Clark and husband, Vernon and Suzie Simpson and husband, Oscar; son, Mike Sumner and wife, Tina, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Will, Trenton and Kendall Sumner; brothers, Glen Shults of Pecos and Roy Shults of Salem, OR; sister, Doris Shults of Spring, TX; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William"Bud" Sumner of November 2, 1997. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all the lives that she touched. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Stephen Gunsalles officiating. interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Bill Trent, John Trent, Ray Coor, Gene Parnell, Frank Beller and Ron Shults.
