Mr. Steve A. Montoya, 37, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 31, 1999. Mr. Montoya is survived by his beloved wife of seven years, Michelle; two daughters, Melanie and Stephanie; one son, Steven Jr.; his parents, Arsenio and Betty Montoya; one sister, Elizabeth Valdez; his half sister, Tanya Aragon and husband, Daniel; one brother, Lorenzo Montoya; four half brothers, Archie Jr., Michael, Andrew and Arsenio. His special nieces, Samantha Lynn and Ashley Nicole; his special nephew, Matthew Arron; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Steve was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday evening in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos NW, from 7:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. by Mrs. Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Ramon Aragon, celebrant of the mass. Pallbearers will be Ronald Paiz, Lorenzo Montoya, Eugene J. Garcia Sr., Arsenio Montoya, Eugene R. Garcia Jr and Frank Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers will be Diego Lopez, Matt Sanchez and Mark Sisneros. Private disposition will take place. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr., SW in charge of arrangements.
