Obituary for Dill

Willard G. Dill, 84, passed away at home on August 21, 1999. He was born in Nickerson, KS on November 6, 1914 and married Arleta Erhart in 1936 in Independence, KS, worked as a pipe fitter foreman in Kasier ship yard on aircraft carriers in Vancouver, WA during WWII, moved to Albuquerque in 1959 where he worked in the plumbing trade. He was preceded in death by daughter, Susan Diane Dill; sisters, Alice Lindsay, Winfred Gregg; and brother, Ernest States. He is survived by wife, Arleta Dill; children, Duane Dill and wife, Margaret, Dwight Dill and wife, Sharon, Kenneth Dill and wife, Jane, Cindy Lewis and husband, Wayne; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; brother, Earl Dill and wife, Beulah of Valley Center, KS; and numerous family and friends who will miss him. Graveside services will be held at Sunset memorial Park at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 1999 followed by a Memorial service at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3715 Silver Ave. SE 87108, ph# 266-8793 at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Jim Massey.
