Alan Thomas, 55, died on Sunday, August 15, 1999 in Albuquerque. He was born on February 19, 1944 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Mary and three devoted children, Brad, Shannon and Robin. Also a beloved and devoted friend and co-worker Cece Lopez. All reside in Albuquerque. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Lorenzo Tafoya, Edward Martinac, David Woodward and Theresa Madrid; nieces and nephews, Christine and Ben Lucero and Charlene Madrid; three great-nephews, Ben, Kevin and and Kyle Lucero, all residing in Denver. Alan taught special education classes at Armijo and La Mesa Elementary Schools in Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed and loved forever by his family and friends. Rosary at 8:30 a.m. and funeral service at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 1999 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 5415 Fortuna Road NW.
