Jacobo"Jake" Maestas, 72, passed away November 27, 1999. He was born and raised in Taos, NM, was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, retired from Duke City Lumber Company, and was a member of Alameda Bible Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nettie Maestas; four daughters, Pamala Montoya, Kathleen Dodd and husband, Ken, Linda Malone and husband, Don, and Valerie Sanchez and husband, Glenn; son, Cliff Maestas and wife, Nancy; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brothers, Ben, Florimel, and Tom; sisters, Viola, Corina, and Emily; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Alameda Bible Church, 220 El Pueblo NW on Tuesday, November 30, 1999 with viewing at 8:45 a.m. and Funeral at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Malcolm Bicker officiating.
