Edith Sharp Alexander, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for four years, died Sunday, September 19, 1999. She is survived by her son, Leigh Alexander and wife, Kathy of Sidney, ME; daughters, Martha Marquez and husband, Raimundo of Williamstown, NJ, Laurel Becker and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque and Gale Kornbluth and husband, Michael of Cincinnati, OH; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Alexander lived in New Jersey most of her life. She was a registered nurse for 30 years. Mrs. Alexander attended Bear Canyon Senior Center. She was a loving mother, wife and friend. Mrs. Alexander will be missed by many family and friends. Cremation has taken place and cremated remains will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
