Isidro Jamil Ortiz, 20 years old, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 1999. Born on July 31, 1979 in Albuquerque, Isidro is survived by his mother, Cynthia Armenta; and his father, Richard Ortiz and wife, Sherry; as well as his brothers, Jonathon and Jeremy Ortiz; and sister, Jessica Ortiz. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Virginia Armenta; and his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Juanita Ortiz; as well as his great grandparents, Jacobo and Maggie Armenta and J.A. Garcia. Isidro is also survived by his aunts, Geraldine Gutierrez, Irene Armenta, Debbie Armenta, Nanda Harmon, Gladys Robledo and Nina Hernandez; and uncles, Phillip, Patrick and Gerald Ortiz, Morris Gutierrez and Steve Armenta; as well as numerous cousins and family throughout New Mexico. He is loved by many friends and family and will be missed forever and may God Rest His Soul and God help his family to get through this trying time. A Rosary was scheduled for Monday night at the Holy Child Parish in Tijeras at 7:00 p.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at the church in Tijeras with Burial to follow Mass at the Graveside in San Antonio Cemetery in Tijeras. Names of people to serve as Pallbearers are Joe and Dominic Garcia, Gilbert Thomas Torres, Anthony Barela, Mike Ortiz, David Ortiz, Duke Sonnenberg and Armando Lopez.
