Obituary for Nauta

Charles R. Nauta, 64, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Sunday, September 19, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Nauta of the family home; two daughters, Diana Lynn Braswell and husband, Danny of Richmond, VA and Cheryl Elaine Wallace and husband, Dan of Albuquerque; one son, Ronald Wayne Nauta of Pojoaque; grandchildren, Shiela Ann and Ronald Ray Nauta, Benjamin Carl and Stephanie Nicole Broshious and Alysa Ashlynn Braswell; and three brothers, Elton Nauta and wife, June of Milton Freewater, OR, Oscar Nauta and wife, Margaret of Raton and Lloyd Nauta of Broomfield, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.E. and Alma Nauta; and a brother, Walter Nauta. Mr. Nauta graduated from Raton High School in 1953. He worked an an electrician for 35 years, retiring in 1996 from Local Union #611. Mr. Nauta was a member of Hoffmantown Church. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church Chapel, 8888 Harper Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating.
