Jo Anna L. Hughes, 72, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 15, 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hughes of Albuquerque; son, Derek Hughes and wife, Lana of Huntsville, AR; granddaughters, Nicole, Brandi, Dawn, Deserae, Celeste, Trisha and Alysia; grandsons, Danny, Damien, Brandon and Trevor; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Blotz and husband, Ray, Katherine Pope and husband, Bill and Arlene Schnack, all of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Paul Schnack of Tulsa, OK and Harold Schnack and wife, Janice of Spring, TX; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Hughes. Mrs. Hughes was a member of Christ The Ray of Hope Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the U.S. Army Retired Officers Women's Auxiliary. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Christ The Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Harold C. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
