Christine Northam, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Wednesday, September 15, 1999. She is survived by her sisters, Faye King of Edgewood and Blanche Hart of Hydro, OK; nephews, Bill Adkins of Los Lunas, Tom Adkins of Albuquerque, Joe King and Herman Brannon, both of Edgewood, Dale Hart of Oklahoma, David Northam of Las Vegas, NV and Bill Northam of Massachusetts; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a secretary at Sandia National Labs until her retirement in 1989. While her health was good, she loved to travel in the United States and abroad, and she loved to socialize. She was loved very much by her sisters and nephews, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Barton, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, September 17, 1999, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
