Johnny Griego, 31, passed away September 15, 1999. He was a native New Mexican, served in the US Navy, and was self employed as a cosmetologist. He is survived by sons, Jonathan Griego, Patrick Griego; mother, Florencia Laris and husband, Gene; grandmother, Alacia Apodaca; sisters, Donna Madrigal and husband, Juan, Denise Lovato and husband, James; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with Rosary recited at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 1999, Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, and Burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa, NM. Pallbearers will be Joe Robert Chavez, Val Duran, Anthony Griego, Steve Griego, Andrez Marquez and Daniel Apodaca. Funeral arrangements by Direct Services, 2919 4th NW, 343-8008.
