Jay C. Mattheis, 74, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, died Wednesday, September 8, 1999. He is survived by his sons, Todd R. Burnett and wife, Linda of Manvel, TX and Lynn C. Burnett of Riverside, CA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones. Mr. Mattheis was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Mattheis; and son, Edward P. Burnett. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
