Obituary for Arellano

Moises A. Arellano, 69, a resident of Mesa, AZ, and a former resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 5, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Delfina; daughters, Felita Arellano and Shirley Arellano Gilbert and husband, Tony; son, Felix Arellano; five grandchildren, David Lovato, Derrick Lovato, Dion Lovato, Alexandra Arellano and Shaundra Gilbert; sisters, Carol Archibeque and Rita Howard; brothers, Unaldo Arellano, Gavino Arellano, Guerllemo Arellano and Joe Arellano; mother, Josefa Arellano; uncle, Virginio Sandoval; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Arellano was preceded in death by his father, Juan Arellano. He was born in Cuba, NM. Mr. Arellano served in the U.S. Navy and was an active member of V.F.W. Post #4243. He worked as a civil engineer for the United States government, before retiring in July, 1985. Mr. Arellano was an active member of the Catholic Church. He was also a veteran of the Bernalillo Volunteer Fire Department."God hath not promised Skies always blue, Flower-strewn pathways All our lives through; God hath not promised Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:30 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca, Celebrant. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
