Mr. Lawrence Baca died Sunday in Albuquerque at the age of 44. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Lawrence Baca III; and his sister, Sally Benta. Lawrence is survived by his father, Elias Gallegos; mother, Manuelita Baca; wife, Erlinda Baca; sons, Lawrence Baca Jr. and wife, Cynthia Roman, Margarito Baca and Seymour Baca; daughters, Mary Ann Baca and husband, Michael Sosa and Rose Baca and husband, Vance Chino; four brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren. Gabriel Baca, Martin Chino and Marisol Sosa. Funeral services for Lawrence will be held on Thursday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Vigil, Elmer Vigil, Mike Baca, Greg Maestas, Michael Roberts and Saul Mendoza. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Sosa and Vince Chino. A Rosary for Lawrence will be recited on Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
