Obituary for Clark

Archie O. Clark, 83, of Albuquerque, passed away on October 3, 1999. Archie was born on August 24, 1916 in Oakland, Iowa to Elmer and Nola Clark, who preceded him in death. Archie was also preceded in death by a sister, Iris Keyes; and a brother, Chester Clark. Archie was always there for people when they needed someone. He touched the hearts of many and was a strong believer in the Lord. Archie was a lifetime carpenter and his hobbies included dancing, singing, and was a creative artist. Archie is survived by his previous wife, Felicia Quintero; four daughters, Melody M. Martinez and husband, Felix, Marian L. Davis and husband, Oscar, Magda Quintero, and Beverly Owens and husband, Clyde; one son, Merlin Clark; three sisters, Bonnie Blair, Roberta Rollins and Phyllis Burwett; one brother, Merlin Clark; ten grandchildren; and a host of special friends and relatives. Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 1999, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Oh Daddy, how we miss you so, We can't let go of thoughts of you, Even though you're in our soul, We long to see the face we know. What a glorious sight, When the Angels lifted you to our Lord.
