Juan G. Padilla, 77, beloved husband, father, and grandchildren, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 5, 1999. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther Padilla of the family home; his children, Juanita Arnaiz of Phoenix, AZ, Genevieve Navarro, Juan Padilla and wife, Theresa, both of Barstow, CA, John Sanchez and wife, Lita, Jane Van Damme and husband, Richard; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Evening services will be conducted tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, 10:00 a.m., at Aposento Alto Church, 2501 Alamogordo NW, with Pastor Rueben Garajardo. Interment will follow at La Joya, NM. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SE, 243-5222.
