Obituary for Ingle

Charles A. Ingle, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, died September 29, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Doris Ingle of Albuquerque; children, Rick Ingle and wife, Kristi, Cynthia Kiraly and husband, Eric, Jerryl Ingle, Ron Ingle, all of Albuquerque, Don Ingle and wife, Gloria of Liberty Hill, TX and Keith Ingle and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque; brothers, Walter Ingle and wife, Maxine of Clovis and James Ingle and wife, Alyce of Hobbs; sister, Bobby Maye Stemsrud and husband, Dennis of Las Cruces; grandsons, Jeff Kiraly and wife, Janette, Jeremy Ingle, James Ingle and Scott Ingle; granddaughters, Kariann Kiraly, Kristy Wimberly and husband, Sheldon, Jessica Ingle and Theresa Ingle; great-grandchildren, Trey Watson and Kylee Kiraly; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ingle was born on November 20, 1924 in Albuquerque. He moved to Estancia in 1933 and graduated from Estancia High School in 1942. He married Doris Jean Dodds in 1943. Mr. Ingle served his country in the Navy during World War II. He attended Eastern New Mexico University in 1948 and graduated in 1953. He taught school in California for two years until he returned to Albuquerque. He began teaching at Montgomery Elementary School in 1958 and taught there for 11 years, then transferred to Jackson Middle School, where he taught for 17 years. During his first years of teaching he was very active with A.C.T.A. In 1948 he was ordained a Deacon in the Southern Baptist Church and continued to be active in his home church. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas Dr. SE, with Pastor Winfred Walker officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Rick Ingle, Jerryl Ingle, Ron Ingle, Don Ingle, Keith Ingle, Eric Kiraly and Jeff Kiraly. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Highland Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Fund at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas Dr. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, or to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 525 San Pedro NE, #101, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
